As we reflect on 2023, we're filled with pride not only for our business achievements but also for our deep involvement with The Evelina London Children's Charity. This year, our journey has been significantly marked by the story of a courageous little boy, Maximus, and our efforts to support children like him.
Maximus, or Max as we fondly call him, faced a challenging health journey that deeply moved all of us at NDC. His resilience and spirit inspired us to embark on a mission of support and fundraising for The Evelina, which has been instrumental in diagnosing and treating Max's condition. We're overjoyed to see his incredible progress and always look forward to his visits to our head office.
In our commitment to help children like Max, we've proudly raised nearly £15,000 this year. This achievement is a testament to the compassion and dedication of our entire NDC family.
I want to extend a special thank you to our director Nick Cole, Senior BDM Gary Rose, and Simone Rover, who bravely completed a bungee jump. Their courage significantly boosted our fundraising efforts.
A massive shoutout to Kay Hills and Gary Rose for their phenomenal effort in this year's London Marathon. Kay's determination in her first marathon and Gary's unwavering support in his second marathon for Evelina have been nothing short of inspiring.
